Dr David Pattison

David underwent dual training in Nuclear Medicine and Endocrinology in Melbourne and joined the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre NET service in 2013. In late 2016 he moved to Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, where he is Deputy Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine & Specialised PET Services and actively involved in the radionuclide therapy service. He has a keen clinical and research interest at the intersection of these specialties, particularly NETs and thyroid cancer, where he has been a leader in the introduction of 68Ga-exendin 4 and I-124 PET scans in Australia.
