Dr Sunita De Sousa
Dr Sunita De Sousa is a consultant endocrinologist and research fellow at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and SA Pathology. She was awarded her medical degree with honours at the University of New South Wales in 2009 and undertook physician training between Adelaide and Sydney. She has completed fellowships in pituitary endocrinology at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and endocrine genetics at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She holds an MSc from the University of London and continues her PhD studies on the neuropsychological and genetic aspects of prolactinomas. Having served as the advanced trainee representative in the RACP Endocrinology Specialist Advisory Committee and coordinator of the Genetics Leaders in Endocrinology Education Meeting (GLEEM), she is committed to the state of endocrine training in Australia. She is the chair of the 2018 ESA-SRB Annual Scientific Meeting Local Organising Committee and a member of the 2018 ESA Clinical Weekend Organising Committee.
