Professor Evdokia Dimitriadis
Professor Eva Dimitriadis is an NHMRC Senior Research Fellow and Deputy Head of the Centre for Reproductive Health, Hudson Institute in Melbourne. She graduated with a PhD in diabetes from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 1998. Since that time she has worked 15 years FTE due to her maternity and carer’s leave. Her current research focus is defining human embryo-endometrial interactions that are required for the establishment of pregnancy. The goal of her work is to develop biomarkers and treatments for female infertility and pregnancy disorders including preeclampsia. Her work is published in prestigious journals including PNAS, Cell Reports and Nature Reviews Endocrinology. Her work is funded by project grants from the NHMRC and industry sources.
